The project covers the development of detailed engineering solutions for a 5-kilometre section of the Chirchiq River, including channel narrowing, riverbank protection and the creation of recreational areas. Working with a river means designing for changing conditions. Our task is to create infrastructure that can safely manage high flood flows while maintaining a stable water level and creating a functional environment along the river. Bringing these requirements together is what makes this project particularly complex from an engineering perspective.
