The project covers the development of detailed engineering solutions for a 5-kilometre section of the Chirchiq River, including channel narrowing, riverbank protection and the creation of recreational areas. Designed for flood flows of up to Q500, the project will protect the new business zone and maintain a consistent water level for recreation despite changing river flows.

Working with a river means designing for changing conditions. Our task is to create infrastructure that can safely manage high flood flows while maintaining a stable water level and creating a functional environment along the river. Bringing these requirements together is what makes this project particularly complex from an engineering perspective.
